Meaning of the UPF Logo
The United Prayer for France logo
consists of the three colors of the French flag.
On the right the red color is in the form of flames. It symbolizes the prayers and
intercession that is raised up before the throne of God for France. It also symbolizes the fire
of the Word of God (Jer 20:9, Jer 23:29) that will spread anew, through the nation of France as the
result of these prayers.
On the left the blue color is in the form of a water drop. UPF believes that as we pray
for the nation of France God will start releasing His revival rain to refresh
(Act 3:19) and wash the nation of France (Eph 5:26) and bring the New Life of
His Spirit (Tit3:5). It also symbolizes the washing of
feet (Joh 13:14) as an act of serving and ministering to France.
The white that flows out from the fire and water symbolizes God's cleansing (1 Joh 1:9, Jam 4:8, 2 Cor
7:1) that will become visible as God’s
fire and water, burns and washes away the sinfulness of the past, bringing
forgiveness and restoration.
Together these parts form
a hand, that symbolizes the helping hand of blessing (Num 6:24-26) and
support that we want to stretch out over the nation of France by praying until God’s promises for France are
fulfilled. Our prayer is that as the laying on of hands were both for imparting
the Holy Spirit (Act 8:19) and healing (Mark 16:18), that our endeavors will do
the same.
We also pray that God’s
hand will become visible over France
so that His blessings will once again fill the land.
