About Us

Unlimited Prayer Frontiers (South Africa)

Making prayer our first responsibility. Making nations our prayer priority.

Unlimited Prayer Frontiers believe God has called us to mobilise born-again believers in Jesus Christ for the vital work of prayer and intercession. We organise and coordinate prayer efforts locally and internationally, equip believers through biblically grounded training, and provide research and resources that help intercessors pray more strategically, knowledgeably, and sustainably.

We believe God has called us to raise up an army that would pray for the nations of the world so that the fulness of God’s kingdom can come to every people, tribe, nation and tongue.

The vision of a Prayer Hub in the city

Several years ago God challenged us about His vision for prayer in our city and through our ministry. The Lord gave specific pictures about what He desires to do in Tshwane to establish a prayer center that will serve the work of prayer in the city, South Africa and the nations.

UPF Prayer Outreach to Mkhondo – May 2026

A few weeks ago I said to the Lord, there must be more to Christianity. On this prayer outreach I discovered the more that there is in God. I discovered that I hear God and that I can contribute to spiritual things. Something changed in my life. I live differently since the outreach. Good things changed, I know it is from the Lord. The outreach was really time well spent!

UPF Prayer Outreach to Lydenburg – May 2026

It was incredible to see a prayer powerhouse at work; I have never experienced anything like this before. It was truly beautiful.

Kuruman Visit – 2025

The overall impression was one of awe and wonder what God had started here in the wilderness and finally brought deep into Africa through just a few Holy Spirit-inspired people from distant Europe.

India Prayer Journey experiences

For the first time in my life I felt the overwhelming presence of God while praying in the Spirit – it wasn’t just babble, it was Him speaking Life.

‘Faith of Our Fathers’ Germany – 2023

The Germany 2023 outreach experience should be written up as a God story – this is clear from team feedback

Matlala

In 2024 and 2025 UPF prayed with the 91-year-old missionary serving at Matlala Mission Station that God will revive the church there and that young people will use the parsonage again as a base for outreaches.

UPF Monthly 12-hour Prayer Watch

UPF believes in 24/7 prayer! We teach believers about the importance of Prayer Watches, where Christians take turns to intercede around the clock.

UPF’s main call and focus is strategic prayer projects and focusses. We are not a big ministry and most participation in our ministry centers around specific (mostly short term) projects. But once a month we facilitate a 12-Hour Prayer Watch on WhatsApp where join hands to intercede for UPF activities and processes as well as for the city, nation and issues abroad.

It would be wonderful if you are willing to join our monthly watch. We would love to grow the watch and have more participants. The prayer watches run on the third Friday of every month from 19h00 until 07h00 the Saturday morning.

Our 12-Hour Prayer Watch dates for 2026 are:

20 February 2026
20 March 2026
17 April 2026
15 May 2026
19 June 2026
17 July 2026
21 August 2026
18 September 2026
20 November 2026
