The Academy of Prayer is a thorough training course written, compiled and presented by Leon Coetzee with the purpose of equipping believers and intercessors in biblically based prayer and intercession.
The course consists of three modules of comprehensive training in prayer and intercession. The modules build systematically on one another from a foundational level and are designed to take people from basics to a more advanced and mature level of understanding and prayer functioning.
The course is aimed at the entire Body of Christ and especially those who desire to be used by God in prayer and intercession.
Leon has been presenting the Academy of Prayer since 2005 and the course has proven to be a very effective tool in imparting clarity to many believers on the importance and priority of prayer in the advancement of God’s kingdom.
The three modules of the Academy of Prayer are available in MP3 and CD formats. Modules 1 and 2 are also available in Afrikaans and some of the modules have already been made available on DVD.
From 2018 the Academy of Prayer CD Schools will are facilitated in different towns to give more believers the opportunity to be trained in the essential role of prayer and intercession.

UPF serves the larger Body of Christ through the facilitation of training courses, workshops and teachings in churches, conferences and small groups. We specialise in the areas of Strategic Prayer and Intercession, Spiritual Research and Mapping, Spiritual Warfare, Being led by the Spirit, the Redemptive Gifts of individuals, cities and nations, Team Work and Team Dynamics, Faith, the Spiritual Authority of the Believer, to name but a few subjects. We are called to mobilise and activate believers to take up their priestly call and responsibility in order to facilitate the progress of the kingdom of God in churches and communities. We know we are called to partner with other organisations and ministries to serve the greater global purposes of God. We are not here to build an organisation, rather we understand that our areas of competence are there to strenghten the wider family of faith in Jesus Christ.
